First, we need to accept our uncomfortable sentiments, acknowledge their existence, and figure out how to go on without letting them control what we do. Exercise, journaling, and meditation can all support this. 

Second, enjoying meals is an important aspect of mindfulness. On certain days, that can entail giving in to your cravings, but doing so in a way that shows you fully appreciate them and leaves you in complete control of whether to say "yes," "no," or "that's enough." Be confident moving forward!
